1- What is the TOEIC?
TOEIC stands for “Test of English for International Communication”, which means Test of English for International Communication. This is an English proficiency test intended for people who do not use this language as their first language.
The TOEIC test result will show the learner’s proficiency in English communication in business, commerce, etc. Therefore, this certificate is very suitable for those who want to use English in international communication and work.
The TOEIC test was constructed and developed by the American Educational Testing Service (ETS) at the request of the Japan Federation of Economic Organizations (Keidanren) and the Japanese Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) in 1979.
To date, ETS has conducted the TOEIC test for millions of people around the world. In Vietnam, the TOEIC exam was first organized in 2001 through the representative agency IIG Vietnam.
The TOEIC test program currently includes two tests, which are the traditional two-part TOEIC test Listening and Reading and the two-part TOEIC test Speaking and Writing. You can choose to take one of these two tests or choose to take both.
